The company
Aicura Pty Ltd. is an Australian proprietary limited company registered on 1 April 2026, based in Melbourne, Victoria. The business is focused on one product and one market, being Australian organisations that need to meet Australian AI governance obligations. The product is built and maintained by Aicura, with channel partners and selected implementation partners covering the parts of the market that need a sales or services relationship rather than self-serve software.
What we do, in plain terms
We build software that supports the people doing AI governance work inside Australian organisations. The product catalogues their AI systems, reviews their documents, drafts their policies, surfaces their regulatory news and lets their team verify, edit and approve everything along the way. We don't do compliance for them. We don't certify anything. We don't give legal advice. We make the working parts of the job faster without taking the judgement out of it.
What we believe
Plain tools work better than confident ones. A lot of governance software overclaims, with compliance scores, certification-grade dashboards and "automated compliance" that isn't automated. We refuse to build any of that, not because it's hard but because it misleads the buyer, and the buyers we care about can spot the difference.
Humans are part of the system. Every AI-generated output in Aicura has a review step. The review isn't a polite formality. It's the place where the thing becomes correct. We design the product around the assumption that the AI is a draft-generator and the humans are the final authority.
Australian work deserves Australian tools. The market is full of American and European governance products that treat Australian frameworks as an afterthought. Aicura is built the other way round, with Australian frameworks first and everything else later. That's where the depth sits.
Where we are
Melbourne, Victoria. The product is hosted entirely in AWS ap-southeast-2 (Sydney). The team is small and works remotely within Australia.
